Interesting "Article Note" from the Gypsy Librarian blog...

I feel like I take (or try to take) a pretty balanced view about the implementation of Library 2.0 stuff with regard to academic libraries, and I'm always interested in what people are saying about the future of academic libraries. I came across this "article note" on the Gypsy Librarian blog and thought others might be interested as well. Although I haven't read it myself, the article referenced is Jeffrey Gayton's article in the January 2008 issue of The Journal of Academic Librarianship entitled: "Academic Libraries: 'Social' or 'Communal?'
